We're Otago Water Taxis. A new service available to tourists and locals alike, servicing the Otago Harbour.

We'll get you to wherever you need to go on our beautiful harbour. Our main business is running passengers between Port Chalmers and Steamer Basin in the heart of Dunedin and return.

We can stop anywhere there is a jetty on the harbour. On request and subject to other bookings, we can drop-off, or pick-up from - Careys Bay, Back Beach, Portobello, Broad Bay, Macandrew Bay, Glenfalloch Gardens, Steamer Basin and the Dunedin Marina, right beside Forsyth Barr Stadium.

You can ride with us one-way and take alternative transport the other, or you can stay on board for the entire return trip. We can even drop you off and pick you up an hour or so later. Great if you want to visit Portobello or Port Chalmers for lunch or dinner.

 

From Port to Dunedin is a 20 - 30 minute trip, depending on where we need to

pick-up and drop-off passengers.
