You have multiple options for booking: call, text, email or use our website’s convenient booking system.

Our water taxis cover the whole of Otago Harbour, including Careys Bay, Back Beach, Wellers Rock, Quarantine Island, Portobello, Broad Bay, Macandrew Bay, Otago Yacht Club, and Steamer Basin in Dunedin City.

Our operating hours are 8.00am through till, 5.30pm most days.

We operate evening cruises during the summer months and will do special pickups and drop offs for concerts and rugby games at the stadium until 11.00pm.

Pricing starts from $20 and varies depending on your specific pick-up and drop-off points.

While reservations are preferred, we also welcome same-day bookings via phone, subject to availability.

Currently, our water taxis can accommodate up to 10 passengers. However, this capacity will increase with the introduction of our new vessel by the end of June 2024.

Yes, we do offer private charters tailored to your specific needs. Please contact us for further information.

Yes, you may bring luggage and pets on board. However, please note that extra luggage may incur additional charges, as it may require reducing passenger capacity to accommodate.

There is no minimum age requirement for passengers.
Unfortunately, our current water taxis are not wheelchair accessible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Our water taxis adhere to strict safety protocols, including regular maintenance checks, experienced crew members, and adherence to maritime regulations. We have all the required safety equipment onboard.
In cases of inclement weather or rough seas, passenger safety and comfort is our top priority. We may need to postpone or cancel trips for safety reasons. We try to reschedule or will provide a refund.
We are in the process of enhancing our services, including onboard amenities. Please check back with us by the end of June 2024 for updates.
Yes, parking facilities are available at all our dock locations. However, some walking may be required depending on the specific location.
Yes, you may bring your bicycle on board, but pre-booking is required. Currently, we can accommodate a maximum of four bikes. Please check back with us by the end of June 2024 for any updates on this policy.
Absolutely! We offer a range of sightseeing tours and special packages. Please refer to our “Book Now” page for availability or contact us directly for any personalised options.
We accept various forms of payment, including cash, EFTPOS, credit cards, and bank transfers. We have a card reader on-board for on the spot payments.
We encourage rescheduling whenever possible. Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund less a 3% booking fee. In cases where cruise ship passengers experience delays, we will reschedule to a later trip or provide a refund, less a 3% booking fee, if your ship cancels its stop in Port altogether.
